These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including businesses using our API, end users undergoing identity verification, and visitors to our website.

2. Description of Service

Verifi360 provides identity verification services including:

  • Document capture and verification (passports, IDs, driver licenses)
  • Biometric verification (face matching between documents and selfies)
  • Liveness detection to verify genuine human presence
  • Automated text extraction from identity documents
  • API integration for businesses and developer tools
  • Reviewer workspace and session management

3. Account Registration and Security

To use our Service as a business customer, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including API keys.

You agree to:

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Keep your API keys secure and not share them publicly
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Submit fraudulent, false, or misleading information

  • Understand that verification results may be shared with the business that initiated the verification
  • Agree to our use of third-party services for document processing and biometric analysis

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

Our Service is provided on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
  • Accept that subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled
  • Meet minimum monthly verification volumes as specified in your plan
  • Understand that fees are charged per verification based on your plan
  • Be responsible for all taxes applicable to your use of the Service

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

7. API Usage and Integration

If you integrate our API into your applications, you must:

  • Comply with our API documentation and usage guidelines
  • Not share your API keys with unauthorized parties
  • Implement appropriate security measures in your integration
  • Respect rate limits and usage quotas
  • Handle user data in accordance with applicable privacy laws
  • Obtain necessary consent from end users before initiating verification

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by Verifi360 and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of data and content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, process, and store that content as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability of our Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from such actions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that verification results will always be accurate. Identity verification is not infallible and should be used as one component of your verification process.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERIFI360 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Verifi360 and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as applicable under local law.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
